The Dragonfly Initiative client, Scotgold Resources Ltd. will release 10 limited edition 1oz fine Scottish Gold Rounds on November 29th 2016. The Gold Rounds are made of the first pure Scottish gold mined from the Cononish Gold Mine in Tyndrum, Scotland.
We are thrilled to be assisting Scotgold Resources in the marketing of their very Scottish product and to be representing the company in the sales of their gold to Scottish jewelers and investors. Our 360-degree approach to corporate sustainability includes the value that companies can capture from targeted marketing and brand-building and is a core service of The Dragonfly Initiative.
Scotgold Resources’ Cononish mine has been a long-time in the making and is first and foremost a Scottish affair – a Scottish adventure. The commitment to establish the first commercial Scottish gold mine began three decades ago and when in full operation will set the bar for model small mines in Scotland. It will provide jobs for the duration of the mine for local people for whom the only other option is seasonal work in the tourism industry. The operating practices at the mine are truly respectful of and sensitive to this beautiful part of Scotland: no mercury or cyanide will be used at the project. Jewellers and consumers will be assured by the Edinburgh Assay Office trust mark that the gold in the rounds is 999.9 pure and is directly from the Cononish mine.
We look forward to continue to work with Scotgold Resources and its customers and to promote this responsible enterprise and its unique contribution to Scotland.
